This is the second photoshop I’ve seen of the tongue thrust. Someone on another blog somewhere posted a very informative fact that long term dosages of older psychotropic drugs (Haldol in particular) cause Tardif Kenesia (sp?) with facial tics, particularly the tongue thrusts, inability to sit still (nervous desire to move the legs about, unspent energy) and incontrollable jaw movements.

Seriously, have you ever known an individual to do the tongue thing as part of an innocuous moment of self-effacing “whoops!”?
First time I’ve ever seen such a thing, and it fucking creeps me out.
In the version that RenB posted over to my place, McSenile was standing behind and stage-right to Obama when he made that face/gesture/seizure, so I don’t think that “self-effacement” had anything to do with it.
Psychotropic drugs, on the other hand… helllllll, I bet that his blood’s got better shit in it than Jerry Garcia’s ashes.

Other dopamine antagonists that can cause tardive dyskinesia are drugs for gastrointestinal disorders (e.g. metoclopramide) and neurological disorders. While newer atypical antipsychotics such as olanzapine and risperidone appear to have less dystonic effects, only clozapine has been shown to have a lower risk of tardive dyskinesia than older antipsychotics.
The term tardive dyskinesia was introduced in 1964. Dyskinesia refers to an involuntary movement. The effect of these drugs can be tardive, meaning the dyskinesia continues or appears even after the drugs are no longer taken.”
Note that other drugs, not just antipsychotics, can cause this.

His behavior seems to line up with the idea I had a while ago that the Repubs really don’t want the next four years, knowing its going to be a real hell ride. What else could explain this ticket? I mean honestly.
I’m inclined to agree. They’re still trying to make it look like Obama’s “stealing” the election, however.

Afterall, it will be so much easier to snipe from the out of power position if you can keep your base (and that term works on SO many levels) riled up over how “that one” stole the election. It won’t be true of course, but when has that little detail ever detered Faux News?

I think so String, but I also think that McPain is shallow and stupid enough to believe that most of his claims are credible and ignorant enough of the working class American to have no grasp of how deeply entrenched racism is as well.
Never before in my lifetime has the class division of the wealthy Republican (the real base) been so obvious. They absolutely have no idea what they are stirring up.
