Per Crooks and Liars, President Bush likes to Google his ranch.  He still refuses to send or receive e-mail, because it’s not as easy to shred, and sometimes copies can get stuck in the tubes and come back to haunt you later.  But he does enjoying using Google Maps to look at aerial photographs of brush, often pausing to remark, “Heh heh, that Barney Google’s come a long way.”

This development has been welcomed by First Lady Laura Bush, a former librarian, who believes that Google and similar search engines represent a revolutionary advance in information retrieval technology, and because she’s getting tired of jangling her keys everytime the President gets bored.

I thought they blocked the Googles maps of high value targets like the Prairie Turd ranch and chenron’s underground lair as a way to keep the terrists from targeting them

It’s official. He is a complete blithering idiot. This is not partisan viciousness. This is not mean spirited. I mean he really is just fucking stupid. Sorry, I’ve been using that word a lot recently. At least he used to be able to put thoughts together like “stay” and “course.” Not good thoughts but almost coherent. I think his problem started with “with us or against us.” the “or” was much too complex for him to handle and its been downhill ever since. If my pet dog was this stupid, I’ld take it on a one-way trip to the vet, just out of mercy. I can still say that, can’t I? I mean is there a new law that makes it a federal offense to say that. I sure hope not. Just to be clear, though A) My pet dog is not the president of the United States and B) I would never take President Bush to the vet.

Well, first, a hearty thanks to Maria Bartiromo for asking the tough questions in an election year. Second, I don’t really give a shit if the President of the United States is computer literate or no; I’d appreciate it if the next one could be garden-variety literate, though. Third, the thing that struck me was the “Damn, I got called on, better make with the bullshit instead of admitting I didn’t read the assignment,” routine, which he’s been getting away with since 1999, if not from birth.

Wonder which ranch he was referring to, though. Using the Google with the words “Bush” “land deal” and “Paraguay” gives some interesting results……

I thought it was humorous he couldn’t remember what the map program on Google is called. Um, yes, “Google Maps” is a little hard to recall.

Something to say?
